This was my first visit to a ground outside the UK. Went to see Fiorentina v Atalanta for an evening game in 2017. It was not a disappointment!!! Good atmosphere in the ground, Fiorentina ultras chanted and sang right through the game and Atalanta’s handful of supporters let off the loudest pyro I have ever heard when they scored - don’t know how they got it in as we were searched on entry. The ground itself is a bit tired and mainly open to the elements. The bus journey back to the centre of Florence was probably the fastest I’ve ever travelled on a bus - I am sure that on some corners it was on two wheels. Awesome!!
