I love these smaller lower league grounds. A small, covered seated area behind one of the goals. Seats without cover at the other end. Standing areas down either side with a small bar area (which doubles as a nursery during the day!) All a bit ramshackle, probably reflecting the lack of finance at this level. Entrance fee of £9.00 too. Following a lengthy dry spell the pitch was in desperate need of a hosing but with water being metered smaller clubs can't afford such luxuries. Consequently the match was played on a bone hard pitch. All things considered the skill levels and commitments to playing proper football were good.
