Pre season in Chesham
Pre season game against a Wycombe XI. 371 in attendance to get their football fix. Small ground with plenty of tracing all around the ground, a good chunk of it under cover. A small stand straddles the half way line. Good views all around. Nice bar area as well as food and drink outlets. There was a reassuring waft of onions coming from the hot food stall next to the entrance. A real footballing smell. A good competitive game won by a skillful and more experienced Chesham. I love these grounds, real football with real history.
