Over zealous police and stewards
In those days the dreaded cages were still in existence, the Palace fans got a bit overexcited after we scored the old bill stormed the Brighton beach terrace batons raised and started hitting Palace fans the stewards were no better throwing out fans for nothing we won 3 2 never been back apart from a cricket tour
