Over the top.
It all felt a bit antagonistic. The website stated that all tickets had to be bought in advance, no exceptions. Then, at the ground there is a specific turnstile open just for those wanting to pay. I did enquire but was told to read the f***ing notice. Maybe it was Oxfordshire speak for Welcome! So I joined the slow moving and lengthy queue for the one other open turnstile. Once inside the stewards seemed intent on blocking my pathway. Maybe it's just me. The away fans, all 22 of them, were segregated and monitored by two police officers and stewards. Maybe the ground has had a few problems in the past but everything felt unnecessarily confrontational and tense, a bit like giving you a list of things you can't do rather than smilingly explaining what you can do. Small standing areas behind the goals. Two small stands on either side, one in one half, the other overlooking the other half of the pitch. Finding a seat which enabled a view of both goals and the areas escaped me.
