Wind turbines

A real quirk of Launceston's ground is the huge wind turbines just behind one corner. Standing room all round the pitch except for a small seated area straddling the halfway line and, on a very hot October day (they even had a drinks break in the first half!), offering some protection from the sun. The best loud speaker system of any South West Peninsula ground I've noted. The announcer's voice came over loud and clear, even reaching the far side. Excellent club house and facilities. Only about 50 in attendance at kick off though quite a few more by the second half.
