As I arrived at the Deva Stadium I was greeted by a large, gold sign engraved on a black gate. I feel that if you arrived on the inside of the Chester Stadium blindfolded then you would certainly think that this wasn’t a side from step 6. However the outside was a different story… The fact that they had washing machines adjoined to their stadiums gave me great concerns. Imagine being a fan of Chester and being able to wash your clothes and pick them up clean after the final whistle. I thought this was a unique but very weird touch. If you are a trespasser; there is no security or wired fence a small stadium like itself would be very accessible for many. If you’re not a trespasser then you could also get a sneak peek through the fence which for anyone wondering is how I saw the inside. Cringy family posters were also included with the stadium such as a family with a rat on it. The fans seem very loyal to Chester but I didn’t really like the stadium very much. Two stars for me.
