Nice Ground. Poor Game
So I was working in Northampton and decided to pop down for the non league match against Carlisle. Parking around the ground was ok. There was street parking and a small car park at the ground. An hour before kick off and it was heaving. I parked on some grass near the ground. Getting inside was simple and inside its a decent set up for the size of the club. Lots of terraces to stand. Some sheltered and some unsheltered. The food inside the ground was amazing. I had a double cheeseburger and onions. This tasted amazing and was worth the money. The game isn't really worth talking about. A 1 nil win to Carlisle caused by bad keeping is basically all I need to say. The fans were lovely people. Very friendly and very nice. Getting away from the ground was pretty easy and didn't take long to get on the main road.

Tidy
A tidy little stadium conveniently situated close to the smart town centre. A good sized crowd for a bank holiday derby made for a good atmosphere. Good views all around with a mix of seating and standing areas much of it under cover. Stewards were mostly hands off and low key until called into service when some away fans became a tad upset. It was odd seeing several of them smoking inside the ground and loads of fans openly vaping. The quaint ways of the national league.

God awful place
It’s an absolute travesty that this dire place was allowed to hold a playoff final. Terrible pitch with bobbles everywhere. Poor security, only allowed 700 fans. Only burgers available, no hot dogs or alternatives, no alcohol for away fans, just god awful. Not a nice away day
