Frimley in the wind

Frimley Green play in the Wessex League. An experienced looking side with a few youngsters too. Mainly standing areas around the pitch but a small wooden terraced stand on the club house side and a small covered seared area opposite. A very warm welcome and a good offer upon entry to combine admission with a pint and a burger. Pitch has quite a slope on it and was quite bumpy but the teams made light if it and the very windy conditions. Frimley were comfortable winners against a youthful New Milton Town team who had two players needlessly sent off late on. Officials did a good job and the new rules were well observed. A good set up and a great community resource.
