Not bad
Not too bad centered in the centre of Newport but there are only 2 main stands the other two have no roof so will get rained on. However the food was very good at the ground and the away fans even get there own little bar which is a nice touch. But definitely needs an expansion or something

Mediocre
Very basic ground- only 2 proper stands. The atmosphere also wasn't the best, however the location is good and the food at the ground is really nice. Overall though the stadium could do with modernising, to make the most of its promising location.

Hit and Miss
This is the old rugby ground in the centre of town, so is very well located. The old Hazell Stand, now the Compeed Stand, is a lovely traditional design that runs three quarters of the length of the pitch and seems to house the more vocal County fans in the paddock. The rest of the ground is less charming. A characterless modern stand runs the full length of the opposite touchline while behind the two goals you have a shallow terrace for home fans and some temporary seating for visitors. It's quite an open ground so the atmosphere seemed to get lost to the air. My rugby supporting mate was annoyed that the rugby club was evicted from here to make way for football, but I enjoyed my trip.

Not all bad
Decent little ground for the level it's at. Stewards are not help whatsoever and beer was absolute crap in the away end. Not the worst I've been to

Historic and Modern
An old and historic ground that has gone through a modernisation period over the last few years, but has still managed to keep its historic character. A good solid lower league football ground. The away fans are housed in the Bisley Stand, which is the newest and most modern stand, which is covered. Away fans also have access to the RP bar, Rodneys. Built in the centre of Newport, it is easy to get to by train, car or bus and has plenty of watering holes in very close proximity. The new 1.2M pitch is like a dream, you can play bowls on it in January. One of the better and most traditional stadiums in League 2.
