Proper Ground
We parked in a local car park around an hour and a half before the game. Lots of spaces. 80p an hour. Only a 5 minute walk to the ground. Spoke to some lovely local fans in and around the ground. Added a new shirt to the collection for a tenner. Blinding deal. Club shop is tiny. 6 people in their at a time. Very quaint. Decent views around the ground a half defeat atmosphere. The 800+ Charlton fans sang all game. They were brilliant. The ground is very tight in the gangway but still seemed to have a lot of room. Leg room was OK at best but helped with how cold it was. The grounds old disused stand is starting to be rebuilt so hopefully that will give them back their 4 stands again. Overall it was a lovely ground to go to. I would happily go back to this ground. Great game, great fans, great ground!! Bit of traffic after the game. Took about 15 mins to get away.

A decent little ground with a good atmosphere. Food and drink excellent and a very reasonable price

Average League 2
One stand looks like it's not been attended to since 1934 but the rest are neat. Decent fans because of how shit the football was.

What a shithole. Unbiased opinion, I’ve done 50 grounds in the EFL and this was the worst so far. Football wasn’t much better! Only do it when you have to 😂. One positive - £3 for a cider.

It's ok but not great
Field Mill football ground, home to Mansfield Town FC, provides an enjoyable atmosphere for fans of lower league football. The home fans were passionate, and while the constant banging of a drum could become annoying, it added to the excitement of the match. The facilities at Field Mill could use some improvement, however. The food and drink options were reasonably priced, but there were no comfortable areas to sit or stand. The food kiosk was simply a hole in a wall and only one person served at a time On the bright side, the pitch was in excellent condition and suitable for football matches. There were no obstructions from where I was seated, and the stadium was easy to find, with free parking available on the retail park next to the ground. The stewards were helpful in directing us where to park. One unique feature of Field Mill is the large scoreboard, but it didn't show replays or other game highlights, making it unclear why such a large screen was necessary
