Great Stadium

This is a gem of a stadium, full of character and atmosphere for a small, modern ground. A wood panelled stand sweeps around three sides of the pitch, with safe standing terracing behind each goal. The arena is completed by a modern, two tier grandstand along the forth side. The wood panelling not only adds to the aesthetics of the Studenternas but seems to amplify the atmosphere too, which was excellent the day I visited to watch IK Sirius draw 1-1 with AIK. The stadium bar, with a large outdoor terrace, was modern, spacious and easy to get served at, despite the large crowd. Inside the ground, the food and drink kiosk had a decent choice of food and drink, including beer, and you could actually watch the match from an area of the concourse. The fans are friendly and very proud of what they have achieved in recent years, with the stadium, as well as on the field.
