Throwback to the 20s
Selhurst Park: where history meets hilarity. This charmingly "vintage" stadium could double as a museum of football past—complete with pillars that expertly block your view of anything exciting on the pitch. The seats? Think economy-class flight, but with less legroom and more chance of accidentally becoming best friends with your neighbor. Navigating the concourse is like playing Tetris with your elbows, and the facilities add a whole new level of adventure—particularly when it rains. On the plus side, the fried food aroma is so immersive, you’ll forget the football altogether. Yet, for all its quirks, Selhurst Park is lovable in its perfectly imperfect way. It’s like that old pair of trainers you can't throw out: battered, outdated, and utterly nostalgic. Just don't expect comfort—or a clear view !!!

Atmosphere feels like a lie
Firstly there was a bloody huge pillar blocking my view, which is normal sometimes but the stadium also had what seemed like a staircase directly in front of the away end view?? Secondly, I’d heard the atmosphere was the best in England but although I was close to the “ultras”, I only heard them singing like twice and those times they were not loud.
